Your Toothbrush Can't Do It All

Brushing covers just 4 minutes of your day. For the other 1,436 minutes, bacteria are active and sugar is their fuel.

The Problem

Bacteria never stop: harmful oral bacteria keep producing acid long after you brush, through the night and between meals.

Sugar feeds decay: every sugary snack or drink is a meal for cavity-causing bacteria like Streptococcus mutans.

Brushing covers about 4 min/day: the rest of the day your teeth are unprotected, especially right after meals.

How Xylitol Solves It

Cuts off bacteria's food supply: bacteria try to feed on xylitol but can't use it. They waste energy and gradually die off.

Less stickiness, less plaque: plaque has a harder time gripping your enamel, so less builds up between brushes.

Keeps your mouth balanced: xylitol triggers saliva flow, which neutralises acid and helps remineralise enamel throughout the day.

What Xylitol Actually Does

Reduces Cavities

Bacteria try to feed on xylitol but can't process it. Over time they die off, producing less of the acid that breaks down enamel.

Fights Plaque & Gum Disease

Less stickiness means plaque has nowhere to hold on. With consistent use, less builds up between brushes.

Dry Mouth Relief

Triggers saliva production, keeping your mouth moist and your enamel protected between meals.

Good Questions

Sugar-free mints sweetened with xylitol, a natural sugar alcohol found in birch trees. Unlike regular sugar, xylitol has a glycemic index of just 7 (vs. 65 for table sugar) and actively supports oral health rather than harming it.

Harmful bacteria try to consume xylitol but can't process it. They waste energy and gradually die off, which means less acid production and less plaque buildup over time.

Dentists recommend 6–10 g of xylitol per day, split across 3–5 servings. With 0.65 g per mint, 10 Pearly mints a day hits that target. Best taken after meals when bacteria are most active.

Xylitol is safe for most people in normal amounts. Consuming a very large amount (30 g or more) can cause mild digestive discomfort. Important: xylitol is toxic to dogs. Keep out of reach of pets.
